Jason Kelly, co-founder of Rincon Technology, brings a wealth of business experience to his role as CEO. He has worked for top-tier management consulting firms, VC backed Internet start-ups and international divisions within publicly traded telecommunication service providers. He has led teams in both the United States and Europe, working in finance, business valuation, sales operations, product marketing and strategic planning. Over the last 8 years he led over $150M in Buy Side transactions and the successful re-marketing of those materials on the secondary market.
At Rincon, Jason Kelly is responsible not only for collaborating with co-founder Mike Bartling and his Board in crafting corporate strategy, but also for the execution of the Company’s business model. In this operational role, his primary areas of focus are building the Rincon brand, capital sourcing, hands on leadership of strategic projects, attracting and developing talent
Michael Bartling, co-founder of Rincon Technology, brings deep product, market knowledge and Industry relationships to his role as EVP Business Development. His sales experience includes industries such as insurance and pharmaceuticals; however his focus since 1992 has been the buying and selling of telecommunication and data-networking products. During this time he has led over $150M in Buy and Sell Side transactions. Mike pioneered bringing Optical, IP and ATM products to the North American secondary market and partnering with OEM’s to leverage the secondary market to gain market share and improve margins.
At Rincon, Mike is responsible for collaborating with Jason Kelly (see above) in shaping corporate strategy and for driving revenue through strategic partnerships and the resulting sales and purchases of telecommunication and data-networking products. He holds a B.S. in chemistry from UCSB and has participated in pre-sales trainings for manufacturers such as Cisco, Nortel, Lucent, Juniper, Fujitsu, ADC, and CAC.
